Open URL

OpenURL plugin allows you to open and browse web content directly in text editor as source code. Functions can be accessed:

  • From main menu File→Open→Open URL…
    Open URL in main menu
  • From context menu on URL in text
    Open URL context menu
Plugin remembers location of remote files, opened within it, and use this information for resolbing realtive paths, if you want to navigate further out of downloaded document

Install

You can install plugin directly from HippoEDIT Plugins options page (Tools→Options→Plugins), if you have Online Repository activated or by download plugin bundle directly from this page and open it with HippoEDIT.
