For checking updates or showing list of available extensions in [[options:update-manager|Update Manager]], HippoEDIT uses web service, located by address:
[[http://www.hippoedit.com/api/get_repository.php]]

It may happen, that the default URL is not accessible on your side and you do not see updates and extensions or they coming corrupted - in this case, you can try alternative repository URL:
[[http://direct.hippoedit.com/api/get_repository.php]]

You can modify default Repository URL you with help of the following XML flag, in **hippoedit.config**:

create the line if does not exist, and put value you want.
