The option is by default enabled for all source code syntaxes and disabled for //plain text// syntax. The option can be set as for specific document with View->Editor (file specific)->Current Line or for [[options:syntax:display|all documents]] of specific syntax. Visualization of the current line can be controlled by modifying two colors in [[options:commands:fonts-colors|Font and Color]] settings of syntax. They are : //Current Line// and //Current Line Frame// color. The standard visualization looks like this: {{:view:current-line.png?direct|Current line Highlighting in HippoEDIT}} But you can remove background color, by setting Current Line Foreground color to //Transparent//. {{:view:current-line-no-background.png?direct|Current line Highlighting without background}} Or show current line without a frame, by setting its foreground color to //Transparent//. {{:view:current-line-no-frame.png?direct|Current line Highlighting without background}}
