Auto Recovery

Auto Recovery function defends you from losing of recent changes in your documents because of the system creash, power failure or program crash: if system/programm crashed, next start uses this auto recovery files to bring your open documents to state they were before crash.

Auto Recovery is enabled by default and applied for all unsaved files. As far as changes are saved, auto recovery information is deleted.

For storing of your recent changes in “usaved” document, HippoEDIT uses additional file, placed aside with original one (file *.auto.tmp).

To enable/disable: Options > Editor > Save Auto Recovery info

There are some advanced parameters exist, that can be done with direct XML file chnages.
